Blakestown & Mountview Youth Initiative is a community-based youth
organisation working with young people aged **Apply on the website**

BMYI is funded by HSE addiction services, T?sla and Blanchardstown
Local Drug & Alcohol Task Force. It is based in a purpose built
facility and it aims to engage young people and their families at risk
of drug and alcohol use in youth development, education support and
family work.
WE ARE NOW RECRUITING FOR THE POST OF FULL TIME MANAGER
CANDIDATES WILL BE EXPECTED TO HAVE:
ESSENTIAL:
* A minimum of five years? experience working within a youth work
setting
* Hold a 3rd level qualification to a minimum of degree level in
youth work, social studies or related discipline
* Experience of strategic planning and financial management
* Knowledge of implementation of a Governance framework informed by
best practice
* Experience of leading or managing a team of staff
* Excellent communication, leadership, motivation and report writing
skills
DESIRABLE
* Experience of management in a youth or community setting
* Worked with a voluntary Board of Management
* Knowledge of National Youth Strategy, National Drug Strategy and
Child Protection Legislation.
* Facilities management experience
* Strategic networking skills
